Ryan and Alissa are some really good friends of ours, so it was a lot fun getting to hang out and to take a few pictures. One of favorite things to do when shooting a couple is to bring in a few props. After talking with Alissa, we decided to have them bring along this awesome beach cruiser and a cute red kite. We really liked how the props added to the photos, plus it doesn’t hurt that they are absolutely adorable!
We had the chance of taking pictures of the Versluis Family. As you can see in the pictures, they definitely know how to have a good time.

Last week Hayley and I traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio to visit my family. It was such a great time and it was refreshing to get away for awhile. While we were there I took my parents out in their backyard to take a few pictures.
They have been married for 33 years and there love for each other is stronger than the day they were married. I really enjoyed getting to take their pictures because I saw something in them that I often overlook. They were totally flirting with each other and acting like teenagers who are experiencing love for the first time, only they have loved each other for over 36 years. I hope that my wife and I are just like them when we are there age.

I said on my last post that my favorite thing about Christmas is the time with family. Well, we spent a couple days up in Wrightwood, CA a few days before Christmas with the my whole family.
My brother-in-law, Trever Hoehne, is a phenomenal photographer and I was honored to get to follow him as we photographed our family.
