Ponce de Leon Wedding

January 17, 2012

Lately, we have been shooting a lot, but not posting at all.  We are finally back in a good routine and we wanted to take the time to finish posting some of our work from the end of 2011.  Michael and Kiera’s beautiful wedding was our last wedding of 2011 and we had the great honor of having Cami Donohue second shoot with us!

Michael and Kiera are such a sweet couple and their wedding was so beautiful with so many sweet little details.  It was a great wedding to end the year on… and seriously, what a stunning bride!  Here are a few of our favorites.

We loved getting to photograph the Goley family again this year.  They are always so full of life and it just makes our job so much easier.  Here are a few favorites from our time with them:

Jude Dawson Collins

November 18, 2011

Our sweet baby has arrived and it’s a boy!!! Jude Dawson Collins was born on October 24th at 1:04am weighing 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long.  He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are so in love with him.  Hudson is quite the proud big brother and he is so tender with Jude.  We are so thankful for the safe arrival of our healthy baby boy.

On a side note: We will be starting to shoot family photo sessions again after Thanksgiving.  We have a waiting list that we will be contacting this week to schedule their session, but we do have a little bit of availability for after Thanksgiving.  If you want to schedule a Christmas Photo Session, be sure to email us as soon as possible at hayley@tandhphotography.com.

Denmark Week!

November 7, 2011

We are finally ready to share with you all the photos from Rune and Nana’s beautiful wedding in Denmark.  There are literally so many photos we decided to take an entire week to share with you all just a few of our favorites.  It was so much fun to get to photograph a wedding in another country and in another language!  There are different traditions and it just made the entire event so much fun.  Plus, the bride and groom are not only a stunning couple, but some of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

Rune & Nana

This is a photo of the back of the mansion where we stayed at for the weekend’s events.  They also had the rehearsal dinner, the cake reception and the brunch the following morning at this location.  The wedding took place at a beautiful church and the dinner reception took place on the same property as the mansion, but in a rustic old building.  It was stunning, unique and perfect for their wedding.

One Year Anniversary!

November 6, 2011

We were so excited when Tom & Steph asked us to do a one year anniversary photo shoot with them and we were even more excited when they filled us in on the details.  They had Summer from Grey Likes Weddings style the shoot and there were a few really cute details were incorporated from their wedding day.  To start with, the car we shot them in was the car they used as their get away car for their wedding.  The cake topper was actually their wedding invitation used as a decoration and they had the top of the wedding cake remade by Sweet and Saucy Shop.   And we even shot them at a location they have often gone throughout their relationship.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Denmark – Day 4

November 4, 2011

The day after the wedding when we had the chance to take more wedding photos, Nana’s brother and sister along with their significant others came along with us.  And with such a beautiful family, I just couldn’t resist taking a few photos of them as well.

Mads and Catharina have been dating for a few months now and I just loved the interaction between the two of them:

One thing that is just amazing about Denmark, is the sky.  It changes so often and it was just so beautiful!   Below is a picture of the North Sea:

Denmark

Denmark

We called this hobbit land.  All the homes in this area had grass growing on their roofs, so they would blend in with the land and not take away from the scenery of the rolling green hills against the shore of the sea.

Denmark

It seems a lot of people don’t realize where Denmark is… well, to give some perspective the city where we were was about a 6 hour drive north of Paris.  Denmark has all the charm you would expect from a European country.  It would be fair to say, I fell in love with this amazing place.

We had coffee at The Coffee Collective which is a world renown coffee shop.  Travis and I actually read about it in a magazine when we were sitting in a waiting room at the doctor’s office a week before I left.  We happened to come across a section in the magazine that listed some of the world’s best food and drinks.  Well, The Coffee Collective was on the list and has apparently been voted the world’s best cup of coffee (which seems like quite a funny title in light of the movie Elf).  So, of course, we had to make stop to get a cup of joe while traveling around Copenhagen.  It definitely did not disappoint.

Denmark

You might remember this couple from their wedding we shot last summer.  (check their wedding out here, here and here)

After photographing their wedding and then traveling with them to Denmark to photograph Lina’s sister’s wedding, they have become some really awesome friends!

We went on a boat ride tour to see more of the city of Copenhagen… and it was just relaxing, beautiful and amazing how much history is in Europe.

It really was an amazing trip and Denmark has stolen a place in my heart.  I loved the culture, the food and the people.  I definitely can’t wait to go back again someday soon!

Denmark – Day 3

November 3, 2011

The weather in Denmark can be a bit crazy.  One moment there will be beautiful clear skies and then within 30 minutes clouds could have moved in and it has begun to rain.  This is what happened to us on Rune and Nana’s wedding day, right when we were suppose to start taking photos.  The great thing about taking a weekend to celebrate their wedding was that it allowed for us to have the time to do photos the following day.  Both Rune and Nana were totally up for getting dressed again the next day and we were able to take advantage of a few of the scenic spots.  It was so relaxing since there were no pressures of their wedding day and we were able to just enjoy the time taking photos.   Plus, how could we pass up a big open field with these beautiful red flowers or the river with the old boats and dock.

As a photographer, it felt like a chance of a lifetime to get to be a part of capturing their amazing wedding day.

Congratulations Rune and Nana!!!  Thank you for the honor of trusting me to photograph such an important day in your lives!
