A few of Eric and Lina’s vendors were really great and we thought we should share.

-Wedding Coordinator – Lana Meadows {714.749.8368}.  There were so many beautiful details that made this wedding so unique and such a perfect reflection of the bride and groom.  This could have only been done with such an awesome coordinator.
-Videographers- Side by Side Video. They are another husband/wife team and literally took video footage the entire day.

-Mobile D.J. Service, Bill Child {562.858.5003}.  He was unreal and was one of the best DJ’s we have ever heard.  He does it the old school way with turn tables and all!

-Bridesmaids Dresses- H&M

-Brides Gown- Marry Me Bridal

-The location… well that was a private estate… and it seemed as though it was designed to host weddings.  Every detail about the location was beautiful and really allowed the guest along with the bride and groom to simply enjoy the wedding.

Maybe it’s because we were starving, but the crepes by Crepes Bonaparte were delicious!  They served both dinner and dessert crepes made to order.

When we met Eric and Lina back in February, we had no idea we were about to meet such an awesome couple who would become our friends… not just clients.  From what we had heard about the wedding, we knew it was going to be amazing, but we were blown away by the beauty of the day.  The bride, Lina is from Denmark and thus, several Danish traditions were incorporated into the wedding day.   By the end of the evening, we decided we definitely want to put Denmark on our list of “must-travel-to” locations.

We decided to publish a long post of Eric and Lina’s wedding, so all the friends and family back in Denmark could get a glimpse of their beautiful day.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for {part II}!

The first time they were announced as “Mr. & Mrs”….

Anthony and Nikki have such a unique and amazing story.  They were once married to each other, had a son together and later ended up getting a divorce.  After 2 years of being separated and some time spent in counseling, they are in love and ready to recommit their lives to one another.   The wedding was a beautiful intimate wedding on the beach with just their closest friends and immediate family.  Congratulations Anthony and Nikki on a beautiful story of restoration!

On Memorial Day we hung out with some of our best friends, the Davis family.  We decided to take a few pictures of their beautiful family and their daughter who is now 2 years old!  It really is crazy how time flies.  I feel like it was just the other day we were sitting in our living room hanging out when they told us they were going to have a baby.  Now, here we are and she is 2.

We have a couple of weddings we are working on editing and will be posting really soon, but we just had to share a few of Eric and Lina’s wedding.  It was absolutely beautiful and we are excited to share more of there amazing day.  For now, here is a glimpse into their beautiful day…

The Hartanov family are really good friends of ours and their youngest of 4 daughters just turned one a few months ago.  So, we took the youngest two to the park while the older girls were at school and took a few pictures.  The girls are just as cute as can be and their light blue eyes are simply stunning!

Sometimes it is fun to just have recent family photos taken which is exactly what we did with the Kent family.  It was fun to get them together and just let the kids be kids.

One of our favorite things about photography is getting to meet new people and watch all the different family dynamics.  Lauren and her dad, Brad were absolutely so much fun to be around and were a great reminder of why we love our job.  Brad is definitely not lacking in the personality department and well, Lauren is as they say, “the apple does not fall far from the tree”.

Lauren contacted us a few months back to schedule a photo shoot with her and her dad for a Father’s Day gift for her dad.  They have always spent father/daughter days together on Balboa Island enjoying frozen bananas, shopping and a walk around the Island.  She wanted to capture some of these precious moments they have had together.An interesting part of their lives is that Brad has worked in the educational field with children who are hard of hearing and thus, he taught Lauren sign language as a baby.  The first picture is of the two of them signing, “Happy Father’s Day”.

Never too old to have fun and give your daughter bunny ears

Well, we are running out the door to spend the day at Disneyland before our passes are blocked out for the rest of the summer, but we wanted to leave you with some sweet baby goodness.  The daughter of some of our good friends just turned 18 months old and she is as cute as can be.

There are times when the lighting, the setting and the people make for a magical moment in the art of photography.  These moments are unpredictable, but when they happen it feels like Christmas.  At least in our own eyes, this is one of our favorite photo shoots.  It has left us with a deep longing inside for more.  We feel inspired and have fallen even more in love with this art.  The art of documenting the most precious moments of our lives.

Ashley and Eric are experiencing one of these precious moments.  They are expecting their first baby girl this July and they are going to name her Emma Grace.  This much anticipated little baby is going to be born into such a beautiful and wonderful family.  One of Ashley and Eric’s hobbies is playing board games.  They love to spending an evening together playing games and enjoying each other’s company.  So, we thought it would be fun to incorporate this hobby into their photo shoot.

Hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do (hence the reason for the really long post).  And seriously, could Ashley be any cuter only one month before she is about to have a baby?!?!
