Well, we just got back from a wonderful vacation visiting family in Ohio and we have been very busy catching up from a week off.  We will have several more posts from recent work that we will be posting very soon.

For now here are a few photos of the beautiful baby Emma whose parents we did a maternity session back in June.  There is just something so precious about a newborn baby.

On Memorial Day we hung out with some of our best friends, the Davis family.  We decided to take a few pictures of their beautiful family and their daughter who is now 2 years old!  It really is crazy how time flies.  I feel like it was just the other day we were sitting in our living room hanging out when they told us they were going to have a baby.  Now, here we are and she is 2.

The Hartanov family are really good friends of ours and their youngest of 4 daughters just turned one a few months ago.  So, we took the youngest two to the park while the older girls were at school and took a few pictures.  The girls are just as cute as can be and their light blue eyes are simply stunning!

Sometimes it is fun to just have recent family photos taken which is exactly what we did with the Kent family.  It was fun to get them together and just let the kids be kids.

One of our favorite things about photography is getting to meet new people and watch all the different family dynamics.  Lauren and her dad, Brad were absolutely so much fun to be around and were a great reminder of why we love our job.  Brad is definitely not lacking in the personality department and well, Lauren is as they say, “the apple does not fall far from the tree”.

Lauren contacted us a few months back to schedule a photo shoot with her and her dad for a Father’s Day gift for her dad.  They have always spent father/daughter days together on Balboa Island enjoying frozen bananas, shopping and a walk around the Island.  She wanted to capture some of these precious moments they have had together.An interesting part of their lives is that Brad has worked in the educational field with children who are hard of hearing and thus, he taught Lauren sign language as a baby.  The first picture is of the two of them signing, “Happy Father’s Day”.

Well, we are running out the door to spend the day at Disneyland before our passes are blocked out for the rest of the summer, but we wanted to leave you with some sweet baby goodness.  The daughter of some of our good friends just turned 18 months old and she is as cute as can be.

We have been friends with the Trevino Family for about 10 years now and we really enjoyed the chance to photograph their ever growing family.  With some family moving out of the country for a season it was really a great opportunity to get a few pictures of all of them together.  The original Trevino 7 has now blossomed into a beautiful family of 20 including 2 sets of identical twins and more on the way!

The Burton family just celebrated Aubrey’s first birthday!  It is crazy how fast time flies.  We took their pictures last November and just a few months later it is amazing how much Aubrey has changed.  She is seriously one of the happiest babies around and it was so easy to get her to smile.  Here are a few of our favorite pictures.

The Greenwood’s are some of our dearest friends.  Emily and I actually went to high school together.   However, we went to different colleges thousands of miles away from each other.  Every holiday when we would get together, we would spend endless hours talking about life’s recent joys and trials.  After graduation, we both got married and our weddings were 4 weeks apart in which we were both a bridesmaid for the other.  A year after we were married, both of our husbands took different jobs that happened to be locate in San Clemente.  We moved to this little town 4 weeks apart from each other and now we both have first born sons!  Needless to say, we have a lot in common not to mention the fact that our husbands really get along as well.   These are the kinds of friendships one cherishes for a lifetime.
