I love this sweet family and the fact that I have been able to photograph them several times now. It’s fun documenting the change that happens in just a few short months!

This family is extra special to me because Amy and I have been best friends since our freshmen year of college. We have experienced so much life together and it’s amazing how our friendship continues to grow. I wish everyone could have as good of friend as I have in Amy. And she is about to have a baby girl in just about 3 more weeks!!!

This past month when I was spending time with family, we took my niece out to the front yard to snap a few photos of her at 6 months of age. I’m telling you that baby girl is the sweetness little thing. Plus her petite little self is so cute I can hardly handle it. And later we had my sister’s best friend bring over her daughter who was born 2 months after Norah. And since the moms are best friends… Norah and Brynn are destined to be best friends. Here are a few of my favorites:

There really aren’t enough words to say how much we really love this family. Jason and Jessica Hartanov along with their girls were one of the first families that we met and became friends with when Travis and I were first married and we had just moved to San Clemente. They mark a season in our lives. We have so many memories of late night talks sharing with one another the things God was teaching us. We share a love for God, the ocean, healthy food, teavana, worship music, big families and so much more. Jessica and I even were able to be pregnant at the same time. She was pregnant with her 4th and I was pregnant with my first. She taught me so much and was there for me to ask all of my first time mom questions. All this to say, we really love and cherish the Hartanov family.
And this year we were able to photograph the entire extended Hartanov family. The first picture below is a picture of Jason’s brother’s family. I must say the entire family is so beautiful!

And just for fun, I thought I would post old photos of their family. They were one of the first families we ever took pictures of. It’s crazy to think this was our 4th year photographing them.

We love you Hartanov’s! Every single one of you!

This was such a fun photo shoot for me. With Anh’s sweet daughter, Ryan turning 3, we wanted to be sure to get photos of her, but we also took the chance to photograph the entire extended family. I always love seeing the dynamics of family especially when you can tell they love each other.

This adorable family is the Visser family. I went to college with Jessica and I hadn’t seen her in years. So, a few weeks ago on my way home from a road trip with my boys we made a stop in Fresno to see Jessica and her beautiful family. Jessica’s husband is a third generation diary farmer and they actually live on the farm. Our son, Hudson was so excited to visit a farm like “the farms in the storybooks!”. We were able to tour the farm, learn about the trade of being a diary farmer, and I even milked a cow! While I was there I took a few photos of their family (mind you I was by myself and had both my boys in tow… but we totally managed). It was so much fun to see what life on a farm would be like. Thanks Visser’s for your warm hospitality and for showing us the ropes at your farm!

With Fall just around the corner, we will be posting some information on a special for Fall Family photos. Be sure to check back or email us for more information. For now, here a few favorites of the gorgeous Pope family. Seriously, don’t think they could be any cuter!

Continuing with my gorgeous sister, Brittany. My mom and my other 2 sisters and I threw an over the top girly baby shower. It was so much fun and of course, styled by my sister, Summer of GreyLikesWeddings. You can go to GreyLikesBaby to read the full featured article. My mom even made the beautiful cake! Here are a few photos from the our lovely day together celebrating Norah Mae…

This sweet little baby, Seychelle was born about 8 weeks early and was just as tiny as can be. We took her newborn photos when she was 6 weeks old and we really tried to capture just how tiny she is. Here are a few our favorites:
