Well, we are running out the door to spend the day at Disneyland before our passes are blocked out for the rest of the summer, but we wanted to leave you with some sweet baby goodness. The daughter of some of our good friends just turned 18 months old and she is as cute as can be.

There are times when the lighting, the setting and the people make for a magical moment in the art of photography. These moments are unpredictable, but when they happen it feels like Christmas. At least in our own eyes, this is one of our favorite photo shoots. It has left us with a deep longing inside for more. We feel inspired and have fallen even more in love with this art. The art of documenting the most precious moments of our lives.
Ashley and Eric are experiencing one of these precious moments. They are expecting their first baby girl this July and they are going to name her Emma Grace. This much anticipated little baby is going to be born into such a beautiful and wonderful family. One of Ashley and Eric’s hobbies is playing board games. They love to spending an evening together playing games and enjoying each other’s company. So, we thought it would be fun to incorporate this hobby into their photo shoot.
Hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do (hence the reason for the really long post). And seriously, could Ashley be any cuter only one month before she is about to have a baby?!?!
Nikki and Anthony have spent several dates and special moments together in downtown San Juan, so it made for a perfect location for their engagement pictures. They will be getting married this July and they are really excited about what the future holds for them.
We have been friends with the Trevino Family for about 10 years now and we really enjoyed the chance to photograph their ever growing family. With some family moving out of the country for a season it was really a great opportunity to get a few pictures of all of them together. The original Trevino 7 has now blossomed into a beautiful family of 20 including 2 sets of identical twins and more on the way!

One of the reasons we love photography is because it is a way to tell the stories of our lives that make us unique and interesting. Photography allows us the chance to pass those stories along as treasures that will last lifetimes.
This past Christmas we took pictures of Mike and Kristin and had so much fun with them during our shoot. They were such a great couple to work with, so we were really excited when they contacted us about shooting Kristin’s entire family. Kristin and her brother had decided that their parents’ Christmas gift would be a photography session. We always welcome the chance to gather an entire family together for pictures, because we get to help them tell and preserve their story. Here are a few photos from this amazing family’s story. The Burton family just celebrated Aubrey’s first birthday! It is crazy how fast time flies. We took their pictures last November and just a few months later it is amazing how much Aubrey has changed. She is seriously one of the happiest babies around and it was so easy to get her to smile. Here are a few of our favorite pictures.
When Lucia called us from Utterly Engaged, we were more than excited to jump at the opportunity to work with her and the Utterly Engaged team. She had an amazing idea of styling a wedding using a dress for inspiration. One of our favorite details of her design were the cakes that were made to resemble the bride and bridesmaids dresses. The entire shoot came out even better than we could have imagined and took place at the newly renovated Hotel Maya in Long Beach.
In addition, last week we received an email from one Utterly Engaged and found out we were going to be featured as a “Fresh New Vendor”. Seriously, we were blown away. Thank Lucia and the Utterly Engaged team for being so wonderful to work with and so encouraging!
